Ludlow Primary School Support team for families
If you, your child or family would benefit from extra support with your well-being, or if you are worried about a difficult situation in your family you can contact us for support. You might benefit from Early Help.
What is Early Help?
Early Help is providing support to children, young people and their families as soon as problems start. When a child, young person or the family need some extra support, Early Help is often the first response offered by those services in contact with them. It can be required at any stage in a child's life, from pre-birth to adulthood, and applies to any problem or need that the family can't deal with alone. Early Help can be school led or led by working with other agencies or led by a Targeted early Help Family Practitioner.
Early Help means acting early and as soon as possible to provide support where problems are emerging for children, young people and their families.
The type of things Early Help can support with include:
* Concerns about child’s health, development or behaviour
* How a child is doing at school
* Housing or financial concerns
* Children who may be affected by domestic abuse, drugs, alcohol, ill health or crime
If you would like some advice and support, speak to one of the wellbeing team and we can discuss what support is available.
