Ludlow Fringe Art Trail
15th – 31st August 2020
As part of our involvement in our wider community, Ludlow Primary School pupils participate annually in the Ludlow Fringe festival.
This year, although the usual festival was cancelled due to Covid 19, we were able to join in the project – ‘Beautiful Earth Bunting Trail. The bunting will extend around Ludlow Town, Ludlow castle, Millenium Green and along the Bread Walk during the new festival period of 15th – 31st August.
The previous year, our Year 5 children were asked to design and create gargoyle characters out of clay working alongside local artist Matthew Lloyd. Once finished, the creations were displayed as part of the Ludlow Fringe Art Trial.
Pupils in school celebrated all the fantastic things of beauty that the lockdown period has given us time to appreciate and enjoyed contributing in this opportunity to bring our community together and to celebrate the creativity of all ages and abilities.
